Classic Rock… Yet?
It’s another Spring– time for graduations, honors and recognition. So the question here is, when is it time for some of these honorees to “graduate” to Classic Rock recognition? They’ve already distinguished themselves- several more than 25 years ago. Some, like Pearl Jam about to enter the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. As a “classic rocker”, are you ready to welcome them to the playlists of classic rock stations? Should there be a new criteria for “classic rock”? Should it be, if it rocks… it rocks! Or just hey… get off our stage!
Any of these acts deserve to graduate? Anyone else?

All of them and FYI….there’s several you’re playing now that are getting the button changed to a different station when they come on!

Like I said, I’m probably with ya on a lot it– I’m always intrigued by the requests we get for so many of what I suspect you disapprove of but such is the nature of defining “classic rock”. Do your best to hang with us— all I can ask. But thank you for the honest feedback.
