Can you believe it’s been 40 years since that album was released? This month marks the anniversary of that iconic album. Since its release in March of 1973, it has been one of the best selling albums of all time.
Jason Newsted has added Staind guitarist Mike Mushok. for added star-power to his new solo band Newsted. Mushok joined the lineup led by the former Metallica bassplayer turned frontman Newsted, along with drummer Jesus Mendez Jr. and bassist Jessie Farnsworth. Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine has been named as a featured soloist for an upcoming program for the San Diego Symphony. Mustaine will be part of a program that will feature music from Richard Wagner, Antonio Vivaldi and Antonin Dvorak and will take place in April of 2014. Rock on… um… Sir! ~Clutch
