There are rumors coming out of Australia that AC/DC may announced their RETIREMENT soon . . . even as early as today. An entertainment journalist on an Australian radio station said that the band was going to cancel an upcoming tour, and, quote, “we will never see them perform again or record again.”
There are supposedly some tragic circumstances surrounding the band’s retirement that might have something to do with guitarist MALCOLM YOUNG returning home to his family in Australia for “personal reasons.”
There’s been no official word on this, but according to one rumor, Malcolm is TERMINALLY ILL, and the band’s position is that they’d rather pack it in than replace him. Malcolm is 61 years old.

AEG Live is doubling down on its victory over the Michael Jackson wrongful death civil case. Attorneys for the concert promoters and the late pop star’s mother have reached a settlement over the court costs associated with last year’s trial. AEG Live will be reimbursed 800-thousand-dollars, according to the agreement. The promoters were originally seeking more than one-point-two-million-dollars in reimbursement for costs incurred throughout the five-month-old trial. AEG Live attorney Marvin Putnam says it’s appropriate for Katherine Jackson to compensate them for costs in a lawsuit he says never should have been brought in the first place.
