I think the they should remake Smokey and The Bandit
First I should point out that there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with the original. Easily one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time. But I’m also a HUGE sucker for remakes. I’m still looking for the other guy who loved the new A-Team movie.

The reason this came up was our pal Dave the Mechanic found a company that will sell you the kit to turn your new Chevy Camero into a MODERN version of the Pontiac Firebird.. Since Pontiac has gone the way of AMC and the Studebaker, we’re unlikely ever going to see it, but you can make your own for around 4 grand. Oh, and the price of the Camero. That part is important.
Guaranteed to get a two syllable ‘daaaayyaaaaam’ from your neighbors.
So audience? check! Car? DOUBLE check. Now we just need the cast. My vote would be Ashton Kutcher for the role of our lovable lead footed hero. He’s popular with the ladies, and always looks like he needs a shower. JUST like Burt Reynolds. Plus I’ll bet he’d rock that mustache.
